With this morning's news that the stock market has taken a nosedive, Republicans are speaking out about what they believe is the Biden-Harris Administration's fault. As Republicans call for Vice President Kamala Harris (R) to answer the American people, others are calling recent "meltdowns" examples of why the country cannot withhold four more years of Vice President Harris. Criticizing Vice President Harris on X, Texas Rep. Wesley Hunt (R) said that the vice president doesn't deserve a "promotion" over the last four years.
In a series of social media posts, the Texas Republican took issue with the vice president, calling into question her leadership during pressing times.
Citing the last four years under President Biden and Vice President Harris, Rep. Hunt warned that "at any moment a full scale war in Middle East could break out." Moreover, "the market is crashing" and "$5 trillion in wealth has been wiped out in a day and a half," which he argues is no reason to give the presidential hopeful a "promotion".
Biden & Harris have been President and Vice President for nearly 4 years.
At any moment a full scale war in Middle East could break out.
The market is crashing.
$5 trillion in wealth has been wiped out in a day and half.
Imagine giving Kamala Harris a promotion for this.

Rep. Hunt further pressed the Biden-Harris Administration by questioning when Vice President Harris, calling her "the Democratic nominee," plans to address how she will confront the stock market crash and political tension in the Middle East.
Has anyone asked the Democrat nominee this morning how she plans to deal with a stock market meltdown and a major war in the Middle East?

This morning, Americans woke up to reports that the U.S. stock market had taken a nosedive. Over $1.93 trillion has been wiped out from the U.S. stock market, and the market being down over 1,000 points is something that has shocked the nation. In turn, Republicans have quickly directed blame to the Biden-Harris Administration, and it's a sentiment that Florida Rep. Byron Donalds (R) also shares.
Writing on social media, Rep. Donalds called on Vice President Harris to address the American people, warning that the White House is in need of "serious leadership."
It's been 15 days since Democrat elites installed Kamala as their nominee.
She's refused to do a single interview, speak without teleprompter, or lay-out an agenda.
We're facing a recession & all she does is campaign-on "brat," "weird" & platitudes.
We need serious leadership. pic.twitter.com/aJR7EPSsRQ

The market drop comes after the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the U.S. unemployment rate had risen to 4.3%. The Bureau also reported that the economy had added 114,000 jobs, and both numbers were lower-than-expected jobs data.
