Texas Nuclear Alliance Welcomes American Fuel Resources as Newest Member

The Texas Nuclear Alliance (TNA) has announced that American Fuel Resources has joined as its newest member, strengthening the state’s growing commitment to advancing clean, carbon-free nuclear energy.

“American Fuel Resources is leading the charge in securing our energy future by expertly supporting every step of the nuclear fuel cycle,” said TNA President Reed Clay. “TNA is proud to partner with American Fuel Resources, who shares our commitment to setting a global standard for unlocking transformative, reliable energy solutions right here in Texas.”

American Fuel Resources provides advanced, end-to-end solutions across the entire nuclear fuel cycle, from uranium conversion and enrichment to fuel fabrication. The company’s domestic supply chain and technical expertise aim to bolster U.S. energy independence and reliability.

“TNA is leading the effort to highlight the profound societal benefits of clean, carbon-free nuclear power to the people of Texas, including facilitating the building out of the infrastructure needed to fuel the next-generation of power plants,” said Eric Rockett, President of American Fuel Resources. “By joining TNA, American Fuel Resources will help move this mission forward—bringing deep expertise to ensure Texas remains at the forefront of clean, sustainable energy innovation.”

Founded in 2022 after Winter Storm Uri, the Texas Nuclear Alliance is the only industry association in the state focused exclusively on advancing nuclear energy. Its mission is to make Texas the Nuclear Capital of the World by supporting policies and partnerships that unlock the full potential of safe, secure, zero-emissions nuclear power.

With companies like American Fuel Resources joining its ranks, TNA continues to expand its impact, paving the way for a more resilient and sustainable energy future in Texas.
