Texas Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R) has released a new advertisement, highlighting her plan to fixing the "Border Crisis." The Texas Republican has been a fierce critic of the Biden Administration, assuring that Vice President Kamala Harris (D) has failed at securing the border. To ensure that the "Border Crisis" is solved, Rep. Van Duyne is urging Texans to "vote Republican."
The advertisement highlights the "bold plan to end the Biden-Harris border invasion."
This "bold plan" entails "major deportation programs," "empowering border patrol & I.C.E.," "reinstating catch & deport," and ensuring that "asylum seekers will remain in Mexico."
Sharing the advertisement on social media, Rep. Van Duyne warned that "our borders are under attack!" As such, she reiterated her commitment to "fighting against the Biden-Harris border invasion" because the goal is to "protect our families and restore safety to our communities."

Earlier this month, the Texas Republican questioned Vice President Harris affirming that she would fix the border on 'Day 1." "You've been in over 1,000 days. How soon can you start?" Rep. Van Duyne questioned. Vice President Harris is scheduled to make a visit to the border this week, but Rep. Van Duyne and others dismiss the move as "political theater."
Rep. Van Duyne isn't the only lawmaker who's questioned the Biden Administration's border policies. Criticism has also come from across the aisle.
Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas has been critical of President Joe Biden's (D) handling of the border, sharing that the city of Eagle Pass has been "abandoned" by the White House. At the end of last year, Mayor Salinas was forced to declare a state of emergency after 5,000 migrants crossed over the border into the city from Piedras Negras, Mexico.
Speaking to CNN's "OutFront," Mayor Salinas said, "I believe 100 percent... he bears some responsibility for this crisis" when speaking about President Biden.
