President Joe Biden’s first 7 months in office have been nothing less than eventful and forgetful.
With all this “What’s that and Where am I?” moments President Biden has had since taken office, and now with his catastrophic decision to hastily pull U.S. troops out of Afghanistan before securing the safe passage of American citizens and allies, Republicans have ramped up their questioning of the president’s mental capacity.
Rep. Randy Weber (R), who is arguably one of Biden’s most critical voices of opposition from Texas, believes that Biden’s mental state is comparable to that of a child, and recently called for Biden to take a cognitive test.
“Do they do cognitive tests for six-year-olds, because that’s about the level of his ability,” said Rep. Weber.
Weber also said that former President Trump took a cognitive test and “passed it with flying colors,” adding that Democrats see Biden as a liability because “they don’t trust his ability.”
“What if he fails? Then you have the 25th amendment that they are talking about, that they have been talking about invoking,” said Weber. “They don’t trust his ability. They were laying the groundwork.”
Weber’s fellow Texan, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R) was the first Republican to question Biden’s mental state and called for him to take a cognitive test to prove he was fit to be president.
Just recently, Florida Sen. Rick Scott suggested that Biden take a cognitive test.
“After the disastrous events in Afghanistan, we must confront a serious question: Is Joe Biden capable of discharging the duties of his office or has the time come to exercise the provisions of the 25th Amendment,” asked Sen. Scott.
