Texas Senator John Cornyn (R) recently attacked President Joe Biden’s (D) “Bidenomics.”
In a tweet, the conservative Representative listed the things he had a problem with.
“Historic debt, wasteful Washington spending, and 40 year high inflation eating away the standard of living for American families: In 2022, alone, food prices increased by 9.9 percent! That’s Bidenomics,” said Sen. Cornyn.

His tweet was in response to a tweet from the President, who stated the good things the Biden Administration had done.
“13 million jobs created. We’re making things in America again. And we’re taking action to bring down costs on kitchen table items. That’s Bidenomics,” said Pres. Biden.

According to the President, “Bidenonomics is about building an economy from the middle out and the bottom up, not the top down. It’s an economic vision where we make smart investments in America, educate and empower American workers, and promote competition to lower costs and help small businesses.”
The Biden Administration has faced a lot of scrutiny for the rate of inflation. However, there have been several steps taken by the administration to combat prices from rising at a high rate.
Recently, Biden released a statement discussing the administration’s plan to put high-speed internet in all areas of the country.
“For around 24 million Americans across this country, there’s no high-speed internet. And for millions more, their internet connection is limited or unreliable.”
Biden continued, stating, “High-speed internet isn’t a luxury anymore, it’s become an absolute necessity.”
The President shared his views on the plan’s cost-effectiveness and how it could help American families.
“Our bipartisan infrastructure law is funding 35,000 projects across America, including hundreds of projects for high-speed internet. And to date, 19 million families are saving at least $30 a month thanks to our plan,” said Pres. Biden.
The $40 billion plan is supposed to make sure that every state has high-speed internet by the year 2030.
The money will be given out by the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment program, with Texas receiving the most at $3.3 billion.
