Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R) has released scathing comments on social media against President Joe Biden (D). Responding to a Washington Post article on the controversial military exit from Afghanistan, Rep. Crenshaw called out supporters of the exit.

The article discusses a recent House hearing regarding the controversial military exit, noting that Democrats were on the defensive regarding the decision. Given the result of the situation, Republicans have been on the offensive, looking to hold the president accountable for the situation.

During the hearing, Texas Rep. Michael McCaul (R), the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, shared that the White House "refused" heed warnings regarding political tension in Afghanistan as the Taliban recaptured districts and cities during their march to Kabul. Rep. McCaul went on to say that the State Department never called for a full evacuation until August 14, 2021, which was one day before the Afghan government left the country and thousands of civilians proceeded to overrun the city's airport in a bid to flee the country.

Responding to the article, Rep. Crenshaw expressed that "the death and misery resulting from our Afghanistan exit was 100% on Biden," adding that "the military told him to keep 2,500 troops there. Told him to evacuate Americans first. he didn't listen."

The Texas Republican then directed his attention to detractors who support the exit but who argue that it should've been done in a different way.

"Let's be clear to all the other jacka**es (ie Tucker Carlson), who claim 'we should have exited completely, but just do it better!' They are fools who are, in fact, FULLY supporting Biden Policy," Rep. Crenshaw claimed.

"There is NO WAY to get to zero troops without the tragic outcome we saw. It is tactically impossible. THAT IS WHY THE MILITARY RECOMMENDED WE KEEP 2,500 troops in Bagram (not to mention it is a highly strategic location with an airbase in Central Asia.)"

Rep. Crenshaw called out "the ignorant know-nothings acting like they know what should have happened," reiterating that it was entirely President Biden's fault and that President Donald Trump (R) would not have handled the situation in a similar manner.
