Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) is currently journeying through the Lone Star state as part of a 53 stop bus tour. The Texas senator faces a challenger in Texas Rep. Colin Allred (D), and polls indicate that the race is a close one. Senator Cruz is confident that Texans will send him back to the senate on November 5th, and he warns that "Colin Allred is Kamala Harris."
During an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Senator Cruz reiterated that Rep. Allred will attempt everything to make sure that a border wall isn't built. Despite the Texas Democrat assuring during the debate that he is not opposed to strengthening border security, Senator Cruz argues that Rep. Allred "has repeatedly voted for open borders," adding that "if you believe border security is important, Colin Allred calls you a racist."
Colin Allred has repeatedly voted for open borders.
He even called the border wall racist and pledged to personally tear it down.
Colin Allred is Kamala Harris.

As he's done before, the Texas senator pointed to the "open border" issues as the number one issue in the election, and he commented that Texas has felt the brunt of the concern.
"South Texas – the valley – is feeling the price," he explained. "They’re seeing the suffering and the death and the misery, and South Texas and all of Texas is eager to get back to peace and prosperity and a safe and secure border, and inflation under control, and our families doing better," Senator Cruz added.
I just had a great rally in the Rio Grande Valley. Texans are paying the price for Kamala Harris's open border, and they are ready to reelect Donald Trump.

On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris (D) will be visiting Texas where she will be hosting a rally in Houston. Rep. Allred is scheduled to attend the rally as he looks to bolster his campaign against the Republican incumbent. With previous elections in the Lone Star state being determined by a close margin, Democrats are looking to score an upset in the Republican state.
However, Senator Cruz called the 2024 election "a fundamental choice," expressing his confidence in Texans sending him back to the senate.
