Senator John Cornyn: “Last year, the Senate Appropriations [Committee] on a bipartisan basis passed all but one of their 12 appropriations bills. And what did the Majority Leader, Senator Schumer at the time, what did he do? He simply refused to schedule any of those appropriation bills for a vote. It is because of Democratic dysfunction that we find ourselves now in a Continuing Resolution situation, rather than having already attended to what, in effect, was last year's business and passing appropriations bills for the entire fiscal year. If our Democratic colleagues don't like voting for another C.R., I would encourage them to take that up with their now-Minority Leader, as this falls squarely on his shoulders.”
Rep. Beth Van Duyne: "I'm glad to work with my friend from Alabama to introduce the bipartisan GROWTH Act to ensure working Americans have the freedom to invest as they desire to achieve their financial goals. Our common-sense bill allows families to embrace American exceptionalism by giving them the freedom to invest in their future and secure their American Dream while working to achieve financial security and generational wealth.”
Rep. Greg Casar: "Trump and Musk plan to lay off half of the staff at the Department of Education. Their goal is to completely abolish it. They are stealing from our children to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. Stop firing people who serve our children. Fire Elon Musk."
Tarrant County GOP Chair Bo French: "I trust Donald Trump more than Thomas Massie."
Rep. Morgan Luttrell: "Core inflation dropped to its LOWEST level in four years today! And mortgage rates are the lowest since December. Republicans and the Trump admin are getting our economy back on track."
