Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared on ABC News to discuss the latest news regarding the deportation flights that were ordered to return by Federal Judge James Boasberg, citing lack of due process. President Donald Trump (R) and his administration did not return the plane, arguing it was over international waters and that they had legal grounds to deport members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.
Sen. Cruz believes that non-Americans aren't entitled to due process in the first place, agreeing with President Trump's administration to defy Judge Boasberg's order.
Left-wing judges are hellbent on stopping the Trump administration.
The latest ruling stated that Venezuelan gang members are entitled to due process.

"Well, let's be clear, due process does not protect foreign nationals. It does not protect foreign terrorists," said Sen. Cruz. "The Due Process Clause of the Constitution, which is incredibly important in the Bill of Rights, protects Americans. It is a protection to Americans. The Supreme Court's been clear that foreign terrorists are not entitled to due process."
The Texas senator continued, sharing that the onslaught of "lawfare" from the left side of the aisle has come in an attempt to "abuse the court" system to resist Trump's agenda.
"And let me say more fundamentally, we are seeing a pattern of lawfare. We saw it during the last four years with Joe Biden and the Democrats indicting President Trump over and over and over again, trying to abuse the courts to attack their political rivals, and we're seeing it now every single day that Donald Trump has been in his second term, he gets sued," said Cruz. "He gets sued by left wing activist groups, and he gets sued by Democrat attorneys general."
Finally, Cruz mentioned that these federal roadblocks are staggering, especially compared to Trump's predecessors in the White House, dating back to President George W. Bush (R).
Keep in mind, these numbers compare Trump's first two months of his second term to two two-term presidents, and one one-term president.
"And we have seen in the first two months of the Trump administration, more nationwide injunctions in two months than we saw throughout the entire Bush administration, the entire Obama administration, and the entire Biden administration. It is a dramatic escalation.
