BROWARD COUNTY, FL – As law enforcement agencies and communities across the nation prepare to observe National Police Week, the Broward Fraternal Order of Police proudly stands alongside the National Fraternal Order of Police in honoring the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, while recognizing the dedication of those who continue to serve our communities every day.
Each year in Washington, D.C., the National Fraternal Order of Police hosts memorial ceremonies, candlelight vigils, survivor events, and tributes attended by thousands of law enforcement officers, families, and supporters from across the country. Locally, the Broward Fraternal Order of Police will host multiple events throughout Police Week to honor fallen officers, recognize acts of heroism, and strengthen the camaraderie that binds the law enforcement profession together.
