Zelestra has signed a new power purchase agreement with Tesla for the entire output of its planned 140-megawatt Lumen Farm solar project in Texas, expanding the companies' renewable energy partnership into the United States.

Global renewable energy developer Zelestra has announced a new power purchase agreement (PPA) with Tesla for the full output of the planned 140-megawatt alternating current (MWac) Lumen Farm solar project in Texas.
Under the agreement, Tesla will purchase all electricity generated by the utility-scale solar facility, which will be built in northeast Texas.
The deal expands the companies' existing relationship after Zelestra and Tesla signed a 57 MWac solar PPA in Spain in 2024.
Partnership expands to the U.S.
The Texas agreement builds on the companies' previous collaboration involving the Brazatortas I, II, and IV solar facilities in Spain's Castilla-La Mancha region.

Growing renewable energy portfolio
Zelestra said it continues to expand its presence in the U.S. renewable energy market by developing projects for corporate customers, hyperscale operators, and other large energy users.
The company currently has a development pipeline exceeding 16 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy projects across key markets.
