174 Power Global Retail Corporation, a whilly owned subsidiary of Hanwha Energy USA Holdings Corporation, has announced its expansion into competitive retail electricity markets within the PJM interconnection region.
The move follows the company's acquisition of Powervine Energy LLC and Powervine Energy MD, LLC, allowing it to broaden its retail electricity platform beyond Texas.
The company currently operates Chariot Energy and Pumpjack Power in Texas.
New brands will serve PJM customers
Subject to state licensing and regulatory approvals, 175 Power Global retail will market electricity under the Chariot Energy Northeast and Powervine Energy brands.
The company said product offerings, pricing, and contract terms will vary depending on state regulations.
The expansion enables the company to serve:
- Residential customers.
- Commercial businesses.
- Industrial electricity users.
Sales will be made through licensed brokers, consultants, and energy aggregators where permitted by state law.
