TXBIZ PAC, the political action committee representing the Texas Association of Business, has released its endorsements for Texas state offices ahead of the November 2026 General Election.
The endorsements include: Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX), Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R-TX), Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham (R-TX) and numerous members of the Texas Senate and House. The PAC previously released its full list of 2026 primary-election endorsements, which included those statewide officials and dozens of state legislators.
“[The] TXBIZ PAC Board is proud to endorse candidates and officeholders who have demonstrated their commitment to protecting and strengthening Texas' pro-business climate, which has become the envy of the nation and the world," said TXBIZ PAC Chairman Brett Graham.
According to its website, the Texas Association of Business supports pro-jobs, pro-growth and pro-innovation candidates to advance our mission of building the best business climate in the world.
The TXBIZ PAC especially focuses on candidates whose records and positions demonstrate a commitment to preserving and enhancing Texas’ business climate, Graham said.
“We believe that civic engagement, from mom-and-pop shops to the largest employers in the state, is critical to creating the prosperity and economic growth that drives Texans forward,” he said. “We partner with business owners and stakeholders throughout the State of Texas to ensure our endorsed candidates win.
A recent Texas Politics Project poll found that a plurality of registered Texas voters viewed inflation and higher prices as the most important issue facing the state.
One Texas Public Opinion Research poll found that 21% of likely voters said affordability and the cost of living are the issues elected officials should prioritize most in 2026.
Graham added, "Our endorsed candidates for the 2026 General Election in Texas have shown they understand the priorities of job creators, and we look forward to working with all of these leaders in the 90th Legislative Session and beyond to keep Texas an economic beacon in the years and decades to come."
