It's needless to say that Republicans are excited for the incoming Trump Administration. With President Donald Trump (R) in the White House, a Republican controlled Senate, and a Republican controlled House, GOP members like Texas Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R) hope that they'll be able to work more effectively on behalf of the American people. Noting that GOP members are "collectively all on the same team" now, Rep. Van Duyne is eager for the new Trump Administration to take hold.
During an interview on Wake Up America on Newsmax, Rep. Van Duyne discussed the upcoming Trump Administration, highlighting that GOP members are ready to work with his cabinet.

Under the Biden Administration, she shared that it's "been very difficult to try to pass legislation" because the senate would most likely not pass their bills, and President Joe Biden (D) would likely not sign them. Now that Republicans control the White House, the Senate, and the House, she sees an easier path forward to address issues regarding the southern border and energy independence.
"We could pass a strong security bill, which we did with H.R.2. We could pass a strong American energy bill, which we did with H.R.1.," she shared.
To add, President Trump has named Tom Homan as his "Border Czar," a hardliner on illegal immigration, and a "phenomenal pick" according to Rep. Van Duyne. "Let's face it, that guy is a rock star," Rep. Van Duyne further expressed, affirming that Texas needs a strong border to curb illegal immigration.
"I cannot wait to work with this cabinet. I think it's exciting for America. It's moving forward. We're all on the same page. There's a lot for us to do... we've got solutions, and he's putting together a strong team," Rep. Van Duyne celebrated.
Time will tell if GOP members are truly "on the same team" as there was Republican pushback regarding Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz's (R) appointment for Attorney General, which would have put senate GOP members at odds with the president-elect.
