President Trump publicly rebuked Benjamin Netanyahu after the Israel Prime Minister said he will continue to strike Iran and Lebanon whenever he deems necessary, following Trump's peace deal with Iran.

Trump said Tuesday he opposes Netanyahu's decision to keep striking Iran and encouraged Israel to let Syria take the lead against Hezbollah instead.
"Israel's fighting Hezbollah too long and too many people are being killed," Trump warned.
After months of fighting in Iran, the U.S. signed a peace deal and opened the Strait of Hormuz. Although Trump backed out, Netanyahu wants to keep pushing.
This follows Netanyahu's Monday announcement that he is "responsible for Israel's security interests" and will continue to strike Iran and Lebanon whenever he deems necessary.
Trump said he opposes Israel's continued strikes that target civilians and encourages Israel to let Syria keep the fight going.
"If Israel can't do the job without killing everyone else, he'll do the job. Syria will do the job," Trump said.
Although Trump backed out and signed a peace deal with Iran, Israel plans to keep fighting and Trump says he does not support it.
